Salt grain method: You need to prepare coarse salt (large grains) and a plastic bag big enough to hold a plush toy. First, we put the dirty doll in a plastic bag and add salt. Tie the plastic bag tightly and shake the plastic bag vigorously so that the salt inside and the doll are fully contacted.
Soon we can see that the salt grains are slowly turning black, and the beloved doll is gradually getting clean (the principle is that salt, namely sodium chloride, has a certain adsorption effect on dirt). Take out the doll and just dust off the salt on the surface.
Baking soda: The steps are the same as above. Baking soda can also be used for the daily cleaning of plush toys.
Cornmeal: The cornmeal that everyone eats has a similar effect, just use a watering can to lightly wet the doll, sprinkle cornmeal on the surface, put it in a dark and ventilated place until it is dry, and then shake off the cornmeal.
Professional dry cleaning: For dolls that are expensive or of great significance to themselves, they can be sent to a professional dry cleaner to avoid damage to the toy caused by their own cleaning.
Wash:
Washing machine cleaning: Put the plush toys in the laundry bag to avoid the deformation of the dolls due to excessive movements in the washing machine (removable hard objects should be removed to avoid damage to the dolls and the washing machine). Then follow the normal laundry steps.
Hand washing: Plush toys can also be washed by hand, but do not add too much laundry detergent, so as not to be difficult to wash.
Machine washable plush toys are generally identified on the label, please pay attention to identification. The above two can use shampoo instead of laundry detergent, which has a better maintenance effect on plush toys. When cleaning, you can add a little disinfectant to sterilize and remove mites. Please pat the doll lightly when drying after washing to make the inner filling as fluffy as possible so that the doll can regain its shape. Please be sure to dry until the toy is completely dry, so as to avoid the breeding of bacteria in the dry interior.
